ETI2126C — Ultrasound NDT
This course is designed to acquaint students with Ultrasonic NDT Testing. (UT) is used to determine whether there are flaws or defects present in a structure or material. Ultrasonic testing methods use sound waves to find defects and measure material thickness. UT is commonly used in aviation and industry. This method is used by NDT inspectors as one of many NDT testing methods that enables them to collect information about the condition of an asset without having to damage it.
