The English Language Institute (ELI) provides intensive, high quality, non-credit instruction to non-native English language speakers. You will gain proficiency in English as a second language and a better understanding of American culture. The Advanced Grammar core is part of the intensive English Language program offered by FSCJ to International, F-1 students. The grammar core is comprised of curriculum that is designed to facilitate the understanding and use of Advanced Grammar, Reading and Writing of the English language. The ELI program includes 20 hours of instruction per week for 13 weeks, a dynamic and superior curriculum (grammar, reading and writing) and local cultural immersion activities/field trips. (156 hours) NOTE: This course serves non-degree seeking F-1 international students ONLY. Students will be required to complete an online assessment before being accepted into the program.
