CCE0153 — Professional Animal Worker
This course provides the essential skills to work in various pet care settings. Topics include key aspects of pet care, including proper nutrition, exercise, basic first aid, medication administration, and identifying common illnesses for cats and dogs. The curriculum also includes strategies for managing home visits for pet sitting and creating a positive impression on potential employers. Supervised Work Experiences are scheduled and managed at the discretion of the agency sponsoring the coursework. Certification of successful completion of the supervised work experience/internship shall be provided to the College by the sponsoring agency.
