This course provides the theoretical foundation and instructional preparation for necessary for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher Knowledge Test, and eventual certification as an Aircraft Dispatcher. Topics include meteorology, Federal Aviation Regulations, aircraft performance, aviation safety and security, navigation, emergencies, communications, and air traffic control. Students must complete this course and pass the FAA Dispatcher knowledge test before proceeding to AVM 2132C.
