Survey of literature by women in fiction, drama, poetry, biography, and essay. Covers multicultural and international literature from classical to contemporary periods, in addition to feminist and gender theory, to develop close reading and analytical writing skills, promote appreciation and critical understanding of the diverse cultural, historical, and aesthetic qualities of literature.
