AJ 245A — Arrest & Control Techniques Update
This course is designed to update the student on arrest and control techniques while strengthening their existing skills. The content of the course consists of take-downs, searching/handcuffing, ground control escapes, and personal weapons. Verbal commands are emphasized in conjunction with the physical skills. The course meets the perishable skills requirement for arrest and control. This course provides updated legislative content of Penal Code 835(A).
