Students will learn proper procedures in the safe operation of the manual mill, including cutting tool nomenclature, and speeds and feeds. Participants will learn tooling and insert nomenclature, proper use of workholding device, proper use of toolholding devices. Perform speeds and feeds calculations to machine flat and angled surfaces by feeding a workpiece into a rotating cutting tool to remove material.
