Nursing care of the client, neonate and family during the antepartal, intrapartal, and postpartal periods as well as complications of pregnancy and their treatment and nursing care are discussed. This course includes a 30-hour clinical component. Note: Students must pass both the theory and clinical components of this course with 80% in each component to successfully complete the course and advance in the Practical Nursing Program.
