Nursing care of the adult in multiple settings will be presented with a review of anatomy and physiology with a detailed explanation of therapeutic/modified diets and pharmacological interventions for each body system including diet and drug types, classifications, actions and interactions, side effects and adverse effects are also presented. This course includes a 170-hour clinical component for students to integrate theory into practice and expand clinical skills under the supervision of a nursing faculty member. CIP Code: 513901
