BSC 2084C - Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology I Add to Personal Catalog BSC 2084C - Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology I College Requirements Met: AATR, GE General Education Area: Group 1 Science This is an essentials level course in Anatomy and Physiology with a laboratory component, designed for Paramedic and Dental Hygiene students. It is a one semester course with a laboratory component, carrying four semester hours of credit. It is designed to provide the student with a solid background, with emphasis on knowledge required in the clinical setting, and on clinical thinking skills. The course will also be suitable for General Education requirements as well as students desiring to enter other Allied Health disciplines - such as Respiratory Therapy. It is NOT designed for students desiring to enter the Nursing or Physical Therapist Assistant programs. Students wishing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the sciences, entering the Nursing or Physical Therapist Assistant programs should opt for the two-semester sequence of Anatomy and Physiology ( BSC 2085  & BSC 2085L , BSC 2086  & BSC 2086L ).
