AML 2010 - American Literature I Add to Personal Catalog AML 2010 - American Literature I College Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GR General Education Area: Group 2 Humanities This course requires documentation of collegiate-level essay writing as it relates to interpretation and analysis of nonfictional and imaginative American literature. Students will learn and demonstrate an ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize meaning from a study of a part of American culture (pre-colonial through the Civil War), its major authors, and its literary movements. Essay assignments will document the writing, critical thinking, and research fundamentals learned and demonstrated through a completion of ENC 1101.
