ENVR 310 — Environmental Monitoring and Analysis
This course will investigate how to measure and evaluate the health and function of an ecosystem. Students will learn how to design, analyze, and critique ecological experiments and sampling programs and how to collect data using standard tools and technology. This class will have a special emphasis on appropriate sampling protocols used in Sierra Nevada ecosystems. Students will engage in hands-on participation in designing, conducting, and analyzing real experiments and sampling programs.
