AGAS 302 — Advanced Techniques in Equine Training-Fall

This course covers the advanced principles and applications of training young horses under saddle. Topics include the groundwork and philosophy of colt starting, problem-solving, and equine behavior modification. Students will learn to train young horses in body control and maneuvers under saddle with special emphasis on applied horse training techniques, and will advance their physical skills while on horseback through repetition and refinement of practice.
