ART 090 — Art Appreciation 3 Units
This is an introductory course to the appreciation of the visual arts drawn from a wide variety of media, cultures and time periods. Students will learn to analyze art forms in regards to the elements and principles of art, and will be introduced to various technical procedures and materials, allowing students to make connections regarding these formal attributes and the work's content or meaning. The function and communication of visual arts within societal contexts will also be examined. (C-ID ARTH 100)
