WELD 162 — Magnetic Particle Testing Level I
Formal classroom training for Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level I Certification. Overview of the theory of magnetism, principles of MT inspection, MT equipment, and MT testing techniques. Hands-on practical experience using the MT method to detect natural and man-made defects in welds and raw materials which simulate typical industry inspections. Creation of field reports and use of proper terminology.
