This course focuses on theories and perspectives in second language acquisition (SLA) and processes as they relate to sociocultural, cognitive, sociolinguistics perspectives, psychological aspects and linguistic features of language learning. Participants will examine language acquisition process, theories and apply to language practice and teaching in ESL and bilingual classrooms.
