VET175S — Veterinary Parasitology

3.00 credit hours Overview of the internal and external parasites encountered in veterinary medicine. Emphasis will be on the life cycles, identification (including scientific names), diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and zoonosis of parasites found in small and large animal species. Laboratory hours, 32 hours in total, are designated to develop hands-on skills to aid in identification. Lab Fee: $95 (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.)
