SSV213S — Group Work in Social Services
3.00 credit hours History, practice, and theory of group work as it relates to the social service setting. Student will have the opportunity to develop/sharpen personal awareness skills and interpersonal communication skills via group interaction and participation. At least half of the class is participatory (experiential), involving the student as a group member and facilitator. Recommended: Recommended preparation: SSV 111S and SSV 112S .
