2.00 credit hours This course will highlight the relationship between respiratory therapy and the gas laws, chemistry, and microbiology. Students will learn about physics, surface tension, the role of acid-base balance in ABG interpretation, the cleaning/sterilization/disinfection of hospital equipment, among other general healthcare science topics.
