PHY241S — Science & Engineering Physics I
5.00 credit hours Calculus-based introduction to Newtonian mechanics, wave phenomena, fluids, and thermodynamics for students desiring to major in engineering and the sciences. Fundamental principles such as Newton’s Law and the Conservation of Momentum are introduced as a starting point for interpreting observations of simple systems and predicting their behavior.
