7.50 credit hours Focuses on the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to practice evidence-based, patient-centered nursing. Competency areas include comprehensive assessment of human needs and care management of patients experiencing complex medical-surgical or mental-health changes. Focus areas include demonstrating abilities related to teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement, safety and informatics.
