NUR112S — Vulnerable Populations of Practical Nursing
6.00 credit hours Builds on the basic nursing skills gained in NUR 100S and NUR 102S. Content is designed to prepare a student to care for clients on the continuum from birth to death. Emphasis is placed upon content related to death and dying; surgical nursing; critical care; obstetrical and pediatric nursing; and mental health nursing. Practical application is achieved through clinical experiences at inpatient facilities and various community clinical agencies. There is a capstone practicum experience at the end of this semester.
