Focuses on the operation and application of condensers and refrigeration heat exchangers and explores the internal construction and operation of reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal compressors and the different methods of compressor lubrication. The course also reviews defrost methods, refrigeration service, and maintenanc e procedures required to insure an energy efficient system. 7.5-week course (8 lec) Prerequisite: RAH 144 (HVAC 144)
