PSY 239 — Psychopathology 3 Credits
Examination of the historical and contemporary viewpoints of abnormal behavior. Course includes an in -depth analysis of different disorders, their etiologies, treatment options and symptomology. Integration of the current Diagnostic and Statis tical Manual of Mental Disorders' criteria is included. Objectives of the course are implemented through case study analysis and discussion of clinical assessment, diagnosing and treatment modalities. (3 lec) Prerequisite: PSY 101 (PSYC 100)
