DEGREE CREDITS 80-84 NURSING Credential: Associate in Science Degree (70 credit hours) Academic Requirements for Admission: • College level *College Composition (ENG101), *Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab (BIO127) , and Quantitative Reasoning (MAT105) ; and • Recommended cumulative college course GPA of 3.0, 3.4 in courses that are part of the Nursing curriculum • Required pre-admission testing: ATI T EAS exam: The exam with the hig hest total score will be used. No super score will be created from the subsections. The following are the minimum TEAS result guidelines for admission into the EMCC Nursing program: * Overall, 66.1 % * Reading, 72.3% * Math, 68.8 % * English, 68.0 % * Science, 55.0 % Individuals who feel they have transferrable credit for any of the college -level prerequisites listed above should confirm course transferability with the Director of Admissions prior to submitting an application for admission to the Nursing program. The Career Studies Health Science Pathway option allows students to explore EMCC’s allied health and nursing programs while pursuing course credits required for a certificate or degree. This program, intended to replace the 3-year Extended Nursing path, will allow students to complete the prerequisites before applying to the Nursing Program.
