The second of a two -semester sequence, this course stresses the qualitative and quantitative aspects of vibrations and waves, electricity and magnetism, and early quantum theory. Particular topics include mechanical waves, sound, light, optics, DC and AC circuits and basic atomic structure. (3 lec) Prerequisite: PHY 121 (PHYS 15 0) with grade of C or higher; Corequisite: PHY 124 (PHYS 157)
