Introduces the student to the field of radiology as a profession. Topics such as the history of radiology, radiographic equip ment, radiation exposure, and radiation safety are discussed. A radiographer’s role in the care of the patient is reviewed. A brief discussion of several radiographic procedures is provided. (1 lec)
