This capstone course allows students to gain practical experience in providing clinical care to patients and performing administrative and clinical tasks that occur in a medical office. Students a re given the opportunity to apply learned clinical, laboratory and administrative skills in a health care setting under professional supervision and to gain clinical proficiency . Students are required to complete a 160 -hour unpaid, supervised practicum in a program approved health care setting. (1 lec, 160 hours). Prerequisites: All MAS coursework and Program Director approval; CPR certification.
