Basic Woodworking I is an introduction to woodworking tools and equipment by examining the safe and skillful use of both hand and power tools, including their selection, purpose, and maintenance. Designed to introduce the student to the safe and proper use of hand and layout too ls used to construct basic woodworking joinery. Course emphasis will be the hands -on techniques necessary to produce several required wood joints and projects. 7-week course (3 lec, 14 lab)
