With an emphasis on applications and troubleshooting, this course introduces electromechanical and solid-state control devices used in industrial control systems. Students will gain skills in the selection, design, and installa tion of circuits using relays, time delay relays, contactors, motor starters (NEMA and IEC), overload relays, pushbutton operators, selector switches, proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, and variable frequency drives. (1 lec, 2 lab) Prerequisite: EPT 173 (ELEC 173)
