Explores the fundamentals of DC Electricity. Topics examined include voltage, current, resistance, power, series and parallel circuits and circuit analysis theorems. Troubleshooting skills are emphasized. (45 hrs. lec & rec, 30 hrs. lab) Prerequisite: Admission into Electrical and Automation Technology; must be ready for MAT 116 (MATH 140) . A grade of C or higher is required to pass this course.
