ENG 235 — Literary Theory and Criticism 3 Credits
Introduces students to the theory and application of a variety of critical approaches to literature. Has practical applicatio ns for students who plan to pursue an English major, a secondary teaching degree, or a career in any discipline that requires criti cal thinking. Usually offered in the summer. Writing Intensive Course. Prerequisite: ENG 112 (ENGL 115) with grade of C or higher or instructor permission (3 lec)
