Examines the critical value and importance of family in context of interdisciplinary teams and transitions. Emphasizes Fami ly Systems Theory and its relevance to the development of quality partnerships with families. Introduces concepts of person - centered planning, effective team process and communication. Elements of meaningful transitions are reviewed and applied. (3 lec.)
