EDB 231 — Behavioral Health Professional 3 Credits
Designed to give students the competencies to provide in-home services to children and families with developmental disabilities. Principles of behavior, trauma, treatment planning and family functions will be emphasized. Instructional strategies for teaching children behavioral skills and utilizing community resources to assist children and families will be included. First Aid and CPR certificate level instruction is delivered within the course. Students who complete the course with a grade of C or higher will earn a Behavioral Health Professional certificate.
