EDB 210 — Lesson Design for Elementary Settings 3 Credits
Explore different frameworks for lesson design, with a focus on backward design. Students will plan and implement developmentally appropriate instruction that addresses student engagement, higher order thinking, a variety of teaching strategies, and assessment tasks that influence instruction. Reflective practice and responsive teaching will be emphasized. The InTASC Model Core Teaching Standards will be used to guide students’ learning in effective practices. (3 lec) Corequisite: EDB
