Part one introduces the student to the basics of Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Chief Architect software. This project- based class is designed to cover the basic functions, tools, and methods used to create 2D and 3D designs while focusing on a simple home plan. Part two is designed to be an introduction to Cabinet Vision software. Students will use the software to design and prepare models as related to the building industry in preparation for CNC operations in the shop. (2 lec, 2 lab) Prerequisite:
