Reviews and situates the contemporary philosophical and practical applications of corrections against a historical landscape of punishment for unlawful conduct. Students will also explore the parallel adult and juvenile justice systems to determine points of intersection as well as the gross differences between them in philosophy and practice. Prerequisite: CRJ 101 (CJUS 1 01) with grade of C or higher. A grade of C or higher is required to pass the course.
