RAD555 — Clinical Education V

Add to Planning Folder Clinical Hours: 12.00 This course is a continuation of Clinical Education IV and the student will be assigned to the same clinical affiliate as Clinical Education IV and continue to perform routine procedures with indirect supervision where competency has been achieved. Film critique will be integrated throughout the semester. Students will meet requirements as specified in the clinical procedures manual. SLOs: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Apply positioning and procedure techniques learned in Radiographic Procedures I, II, and III to live patients in the clinic setting to a minimum of 80% accuracy for all remaining radiographic exams, as listed in the Clinic Manual. Appraise patient condition to provide the best care and positioning techniques. Demonstrate the ARRT Code of Ethics which are found in the Program Handbook and on the ARRT website. Display initiative to perform all exams independently. Evaluate radiographic images to send or repeat independently.
