Add to Planning Folder Clinical Hours: 12.00 This course will apply, practice, and build principles and skills acquired in the areas of chairside assisting, operative procedures, specialty procedures, laboratory procedures, business office procedures, and dental radiology from DEA-575 Dental Assisting Clinic I. This course will consist of observation and practice in general and specialty dental office settings with an emphasis on chairside duties in general practice. Demonstrate patient preparation. Demonstrate assisting in four-handed dentistry in general procedures. Demonstrate assisting in four handed dentistry in specialty procedures. Demonstrate asepsis. Identify necessary instruments and materials for general and specialty dental procedures. Provide necessary patient care.
