This program is designed to prepare the student for beginning employment as a staff nurse giving direct care to patients. The program has received approval by the Arizona Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). On successful completion of the program, the student will be awarded the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree and will be eligible to apply for licensure and submit application to write the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
