MAT140 — College Mathematics
Applications of mathematics to real life situations. Quantitative methods including probability, statistics, algebra, and exponential functions will be used to analyze concepts and applications from business, social sciences, the physical sciences, and the mathematics of finance. Optional topics may include linear programming, geometry, logic, graph theory, voting theory, and apportionment. Recommend completion of at least two years of high school algebra. Appropriate for students whose major does not require any Calculus.
