HCE471 — Cultural Diversity and Healthcare Delivery
This course explores the significance of the role of culture as a factor defining health and illness within various cultures. It illuminates healthcare practices as they pertain to various traditions and values. It exposes barriers to access, acceptance and utilization of healthcare services based on human differences. The course fosters the development of a broader compassion and empathy through knowledge and awareness.
