HCE361 — Digital Healthcare Technology
This course explores the evolution and practical application of digital technology in health care. The content includes a study of the implementation of electronic health records, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and clinical decision support systems in health care. It includes an in-depth review of the security and ethical challenges related to the digitalization of health information and reviews the connection between technology, health data, and care management. The course introduces telehealth, precision medicine, and wearable technology and examines how health information technology can be used for patient engagement, public health initiatives, and quality improvement.
