CDL105 — Theory: Bus
This course is a study of basic theories, applied laws, and practices related to operating a commercial vehicle under the guidelines of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) and the Arizona Department of Transportation/Motor Vehicle Division/Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADOT MVD AZDPS). Students must be a minimum age of 18 years old at the start of class, provide a birth certificate or U.S. passport, have a valid Arizona motor vehicle license for a minimum of one year, be an Arizona resident, and obtain a U.S. Department of Transportation Medical Certificate. Students who are between 18 and 21 years of age are restricted to driving only in Arizona. Potential students should be aware prospective employers will review their MVD driving records and may require a five-year background records check.
