IND212 — Materials and Metallurgy
IND 212 - Materials and Metallurgy IND 212 - Materials and Metallurgy Hours: 3 Materials and Metallurgy will introduce students to the fundamentals of materials science with a focus on metals and their properties. Alloys, heat treatment and workability of steel, aluminum, magnesium and titanium will be covered. Labs associated with the course will investigate material’s ductility and yield as well as showing the effect of heat treatment and surface hardening techniques on metal’s properties. Prerequisite: None Yearly Cycle: Fall
