ENG 104 - Technical Writing ENG 104 - Technical Writing Hours: 3 An introduction to the practical aspects of preparing various correspondences and technical reports. The emphasis is on clear, direct communication; the techniques of collecting, storing, and sorting business and scientific data; and presenting this information in formal and informal reports. The course also addresses communicating with prospective employers and preparing application letters and resumes. Other elements of communication used in business, science, and industry, including oral presentations, documents, illustrations, and electronic transmittal of documents are covered.
