EMS 200 - Paramedic Refresher EMS 200 - Paramedic Refresher Hours: 1.5 This course is designed to meet one-third of the continuing education units (CEUs) required for re-licensure for the state of Missouri. Content covers the National Component requirements, as well as additional topics for paramedic continuing education as described by the National Registry of EMTs equating to a total of 48 CEUs. Didactic and practical experiences will be available. This course may be repeated and may also be taken for initial licensure examinations. Upon completion of the course, the student will be issued a CEU certificate that states “Paramedic Refresher” listing the CEUs that were completed. NREMT and the state of Missouri have no limits on distance education requirements. Prerequisite: Current Paramedic License or Instructor Consent
