INTP 2104 — Introduction to American Sign Language Interpreting and Ethics 3 Credit Hours

Introduction to the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and the Code of Professional Conduct (CPC). The role of the sign language interpreter in various work settings will be explored. The history and current models of interpreting will be discussed. (3 lecture hours)
