HIDP 1102 — Acoustics and Hearing Science 3 Credit Hours

Acoustics and Hearing Science will provide an overview of the basic properties of sound. Topics will also include the structures and functions of the auditory mechanism and their involvement in a wide range of the auditory perceptual phenomena, and how disorders with these components may lead to impaired auditory function. (3 lecture hours)
