ECEC 1102 — Child Guidance Practices 3 Credit Hours
Students will examine theories, research, and best practices related to healthy social and emotional development of young children ages 0-8. Students will also learn the strategies to identify, assess, and promote heathy social and emotional development. Emphasis will be placed on positive guidance strategies that support the establishment of respectful reciprocal relationships with young children and their families. A lab component and field observations are required. (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
